A supply list that follows the job
A changing site can need different consumables from one week to the next. Group routine items and flag one-off requirements separately. Include specifications for fixings, drill bits, tools and protection so the list reflects what the job actually requires.
Make the site location unambiguous
Use the full postcode and business or site name, plus access instructions and a contact who will receive the goods. If the location has restricted delivery windows or changing access, explain that in the first enquiry. Sam can then check a route that is useful to the team.
Confirm requirements before substitutions
Structural fixings and protection must meet the specified task requirements. Send the approved product or required standard when asking for sourcing help. A broadly similar tool or fixing is not automatically a suitable alternative. Product availability and delivery are confirmed individually.
